Compassionate Support

for Your Healing Journey

Welcome. My name is Sara and I’m a person centred therapist. I'm here to support you on your healing journey, providing compassionate care and understanding, all from the comfort of your own space.

You are not alone

Feeling overwhelmed by trauma, grief, anxiety, or past experiences can be isolating—but you don’t have to face it alone. As a person-centred counsellor, I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can feel heard and supported. My focus is on helping you reconnect with your inner strength and resilience at a pace that feels right for you.

I am passionate in helping people who are survivors of SA, as well as anyone else that needs mental health support. My passion for helping stems from my own experiences at a young age, which have shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of being truly heard.

Together, we’ll address the pain, shame, and other emotions that often accompany these experiences, working toward healing and empowerment.

As a registered member of the BACP, I follow a strict ethical framework and receive regular supervision to ensure your best interests are always at the heart of my work.

Whether you’re healing from trauma, overcoming shame, or navigating life’s challenges, I’m here to walk alongside you with care and support.

Where do we begin?

We'll start with a free 15-minute session so you can get a better sense of who I am and experience how we might work together, with no pressure to continue if it doesn't feel like the right fit.

I work from a confidential and secure space for my clients. You will need a private environment to ensure your privacy and comfort.

Where will our sessions take place?

I currently work exclusively online and also offer telephone sessions. Online counselling provides a more accessible approach to therapy, allowing you to attend sessions without the need to travel.

It offers flexibility and can save valuable time. If you have mobility challenges or lack reliable transportation, online sessions may be a convenient solution.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of counseling sessions a client may need varies depending on their individual goals, concerns, and progress.

Adequate time is essential for building trust, exploring issues thoroughly, and developing effective coping strategies. We will also review our work regularly to ensure we stay aligned with your needs and objectives.

How do I pay for my sessions?

Payment can be made in advance directly into my bank account up to 24 hours prior to the start of the session.

Once we have arranged an introductory session I will send across my bank details so that payment can be made.

Do you offer discounts?

I offer a limited number of sessions at a concessionary rate for counselling students, please get in touch for more information.

Fees and working hours

  • 15 minute introductory session - free
  • 50 minute online/telephone - £55

Cancellations

I understand that cancellations can sometimes be unavoidable due to unexpected situations. However, to respect both our time and allow others the opportunity to schedule sessions, I ask that cancellations be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice or missed without notification may incur a cancellation fee. This policy helps maintain consistency in your therapeutic journey and ensures the integrity of our time together. If you need to reschedule, please reach out as early as possible, and I'll do my best to accommodate you.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality means that everything you share remains private and secure, creating a safe space for you to express your thoughts and feelings. As your therapist, I am committed to maintaining your privacy and protecting the details of our conversations.

Confidentiality is the foundation of trust in our work together, allowing you to explore personal topics without fear of judgment or disclosure. Exceptions to confidentiality are limited and only occur if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if legally required. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful environment where you feel confident sharing openly.
